Agar io is a fast-paced multiplayer online game where you guide a cell around the map, trying to consume as many smaller cells as possible to grow. Avoid all the larger ones, as they can absorb you at any time, ending your run instantly.
To begin, select your preferred mode and start your adventure. You start as a small cell in a 2D competitive arena filled with many other players. Your primary objective is to expand your size by consuming smaller cells and evading larger ones. Aim to climb and dominate the leaderboard as the largest cell for the longest time possible.
Move your cell and eat smaller ones. Move your mouse or swipe the touchscreen to control its movement in any direction you want it to go. Tiny cells and pellets are scattered throughout the arena; you can absorb them by simply bumping into them to increase your size.
Avoid bigger cells. When you’re small, try to stay away from any larger players until you’re big enough to fight back. Once touched, they can absorb you right away, leaving you no chance to continue the run.
Split your cell into parts. Press the spacebar to split your cell in two. This will launch one of your cell’s halves to catch faster, smaller cells or escape danger. By using splitting strategically, you can protect your cell and launch precise attacks when the moment’s right. But be careful, as smaller pieces are easier to eat, so try to stay safe while your cell is split. You can also press W to shoot out a small portion of your mass to feed your allies or manipulate viruses.
Use viruses to gain an edge in Agar.io. Green spiky cells are viruses. When you're smaller, you can hide inside them, but once you are larger, touching one will cause you to explode into smaller pieces, offering both risk and opportunity.
