Caravels.online is a multiplayer adventure survival io-style game set on the open ocean. Players join the journey as the captain of their own ship, sailing the vessel in the vast sea full of coins, rival boats, islands, trade opportunities, and, of course, dangers. Sail your boat now, roam freely around the open arena, collect coins, upgrade your vessel, and then top the leaderboard with your best scores.
In Caravels online, you start with a raft and gradually upgrade it into a powerful vessel as you navigate the vast sea, aiming for wealth and dominance. Do not let others sink you!
Set sail on your raft and warm coins
You begin the journey on a simple raft (the smallest and weakest ship in the game). Steer it around to collect coins and floating boxes to rack up both points and coins earned.
Upgrade your ship and choose a profession path
Once you accumulate enough coins, the game helps you upgrade the boat instantly. Here’s the basic upgrade tree:
When you reach 15 coins, select one of these traits, which is also your chosen progression path: Firepower and resistance trait, Speed and agility trait, or Handling and evasion trait. It’s worth noting that spending coins on upgrades does not reduce your total score. All your earned points remain and increase when you collect more coins, helping you climb the leaderboard.
Visit islands
Islands are scattered across the map. Check the mini map on the bottom right of the screen to find the nearest islands and dock at them to repair your ship, trade consumables and weapons, or accept job offers, such as shipment missions, for extra coins. Islands can also be claimed by fleet leaders, generating passive income for their team whenever other players dock or deliver shipments there. You can also form your fleet and claim islands.
Engage in battles
The seas are full of other players competing for coins and control. For faster coins earned, you can attack and sink enemy ships to loot their coins. But be careful! If your boat is destroyed, you lose your progress and restart from the raft.
