What's new in Fireboy and Watergirl 7?

Fireboy and Watergirl 7: and Friends is the seventh entry in the worldwide famous classic cooperative puzzle-platformer series. This version introduces three new companions: a big friend, a small friend, and a hairy friend, each with their own look and abilities to help you overcome increasingly tougher temple chambers filled with lava, water, poisonous goo, and narrow passages.

As with the prequels, your core mission here is to guide both Fireboy and Watergirl to their respective doors to complete the puzzle and unlock the new one. Luckily, with the help of new friends, the adventure is more exciting and fun, yet it requires a higher level of teamwork and cooperation.

How to Play Fireboy and Watergirl 7: and Friends

Basic Rules

Basically, the rules are quite the same as the previous entries.

Fireboy can walk through lava but dies in water. He can collect red diamonds only.
Watergirl can walk through water but dies in lava. She can grab blue diamonds only.
The level is only completed when both characters reach their own door and exit.
Green goo kills them both.

Note: Friends in Fireboy and Water Girl 7 don’t have exit doors themselves.

Use friends strategically to solve puzzles

Each friend has their own abilities:

Big Friend: Heavy, can tilt beams, and act as a platform.
Small Friend: Fits through narrow passages.
Hairy Friend: Light, can jump very high.

Let your new combination help you with key tasks, such as activating elevators, buttons, or switches.

Coordinate movement between characters & avoid hazards

Work together to control both main characters through hazards and obstacles to reach the exit doors safely. Do not rush; instead, focus on coordination while staying away from dangers to survive. Just one of them dying means failure.
