FNaF 2, Five Nights at Freddy's 2, is the next chapter of the worldwide popular original FNaF game, a survival horror game developed by Scott Cawthon. Released in 2014, FNAF2 takes place in a new Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza location, with more animatronics, new gameplay mechanics, and a faster pace.
Like in the original, players play as a night security guard working from 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM, trying to survive against malfunctioning animatronics. However, FNAF 2 removes the security doors and instead introduces new mechanics, such as

As FNAF 2 includes a large cast, each with its own behavior patterns, you need to use the game’s systems and resources effectively to survive long nights.
As with FNaF, a jumpscare means game over in FNaF2. So, stay focused and play strategically to manage all threats until your night shift ends. Try to stay safe until 6:00 AM for five consecutive days.
Begin your night shift and monitor security cameras
Your shift starts at 12:00 AM and ends at 6:00 AM. Open and check the camera system as soon as the night begins. Click on different rooms on the camera map to track animatronic positions and anticipate their movements.
Use the mask, flashlight, or music box when needed
If an animatronic enters the office, quickly put on the Freddy mask to fool them and make them leave. As for the flashlight, shine it down hallways to deter certain animatronics, but conserve its power by just using quick flashes to check. Also, wind the music box to keep The Puppet from attacking; if the music box runs out, it will come for you with almost no way to stop it.
But, it’s worth noting that each animatronic behaves differently, and the key to survival is to use the right tool: some require the mask, others need the flashlight, and the Puppet must be controlled with the music box.
