To control your team effectively and score many goals, you need to master the controls and the following strategies:
Players use the W, A, S, D keys or arrow keys to control the robot's movement on the field, contest for the ball, and launch attacks.
When opportunities arise, use the Space key to shoot or pass the ball, sending it towards the opponent's goal and scoring.
Although the controls aren't overly complicated, choosing the right time to accelerate, pass, or shoot greatly impacts the outcome of the match. This makes each match a strategic game rather than just relying on speed.
The robots in Neuronball can move very quickly. Use speed to close in on opponents, steal the ball, or quickly return to defense when necessary.
When you lose possession of the ball, prioritize defending the area in front of the goal instead of chasing opponents recklessly. This helps limit unnecessary goals conceded.
A powerful shot isn't necessarily effective if the ball isn't aimed accurately. Turn your robot towards the goal before pressing the shoot button to increase your chances of scoring.
