Slay.one is a fast‑paced top‑down action shooter .io game set in blocky arenas where players battle against opponents across different modes, aiming to eliminate as many rivals as possible to dominate the leaderboard.
Select a game mode
The game has 4 major game modes, each with specific goals and challenges. Before entering the battle, determine which mode you’d like to play in:

| 1 versus 1 ranked | You get matched against another player in a 1v1 battle. Both have five lives; one dying 05 times first loses the game. |
| Free for All (FFA) | Try to take down as many rivals as possible while aiming to die as little as you can. |
| Infection | Humans work together to survive in this mode as zombies keep chasing and infecting all of them. If the player dies, they play as a zombie. |
| Team Game | Work with your team in the Capture Flag missions and Team DM matches. This mode is not available by default. You unlock them by reaching levels 3 and 6, respectively. |
Navigate around to collect stronger weapons and shields
You start the match with a basic weapon. For stronger firepower, you need to roam the map to collect weapons, ammo, and even power-ups scattered across the arena. Don’t rush to jump into combat; instead, focus on upgrading your arsenal first.
Engage in combat while trying to survive as long as possible
Attack and eliminate rivals to earn points or complete specific objectives. Aiming accurately, staying mobile, and switching between weapons strategically to help your character win an edge. Also, keep an eye on the reload as well.
