Vortex io is a fast-paced competitive .io game that drops players into an aquatic battle against opponents to become the last winner. Developed by CD GAMES and published on May 25, 2025, players control speedboats to create as many powerful whirlpools as possible while dodging available vortexes and attacks from other boats. Enter the arena, create the most whirlpools, and stay alive until the end to claim the top spot on the leaderboard.
Create whirlpools. Use the WASD keys or drag the left mouse button to maneuver your speedboat in a circular motion to generate a whirlpool. This powerful water hole can pull in nearby objects and opponents.
Defeat opponents using your whirlpools. Your whirlpools are effective weapons to eliminate opponent boats. Place them near enemies to trap them; if they are pulled in and can’t escape, they get eliminated instantly.
Dodge whirlpools and enemy attacks. Opponents can trap your boat using their whirlpools, too. Stay alert to not fall into these dangerous water holes, which then end the game instantly. Also, be careful with the attack from the opponents. They can bump into your boat from any direction, which causes significant damage to your boat.
Grow bigger in size. You earn points and XP by defeating opponents and collecting crates scattered around the arena. As a bigger boat, you’ll gain an edge in the arena, especially when facing opponent boats.
Be the ultimate winner. Each match lasts 3 minutes, so try to survive until the end while creating the most whirlpools overall to claim the victory.
