World War is a multiplayer strategy game developed by Top Mark Games where players compete to conquer territory and dominate the map. Aim to expand, capture as much land as possible, build structures, manage resource and economy, and more to grow your empire and claim domination. Gaming sessions typically run 15-30 minutes, allowing you to finish a full match in one go.
Similar to titles like Frontwars.io, World War lets you choose between free-for-all (FFA) and team matches across various maps and regions. So, first, spend a few moments setting up your game before jumping into the territory-capture battles.
Set up the game
You can set up almost everything in your game, from choosing the map, difficulty, mode (FFA or Teams), and more. It’s worth noting that team matches can host up to 7 teams competing simultaneously. First time playing? Then, it’s best to start with the “Relaxed” difficulty to get used to the gameplay before stepping up the challenge.
Start out and expand territory
To start, pick your starting territory in the prep phase. Place it smartly and wisely for the best expansion opportunities. Then, you begin with a tiny territory, a small population, and limited resources; quickly capture adjacent territory to expand your land and increase your control percentage of the map. However, expanding too fast can leave you exposed to attacks, so it's important to grow strategically.
Defending your land
In the battle to dominate the world, rivals are everywhere trying to take your territory. Adjust your attack ratio, position your port defenses, and purchase weapons to upgrade your country’s defense.
Build structures and resource management
Balancing growth, defense, and attack is key to survival and expanding in World War. Keep track of your gold and population. Invest wisely in both economic growth (factories, cities, and ports) and offensive and defensive structures (warships, missile silos, SAM launchers, etc.) to establish a solid foundation for unstoppable power! Do not forget to keep expanding your land by targeting weaker opponents to absorb their territory.
