Developed by Oslo Albet, Fireboy and Watergirl 5: Elements is the fifth installment in the famous Fireboy and Watergirl series, a cooperative puzzle‑platformer featuring 2 contrasting characters and levels full of traps and dangers. In this sequel, all previous temple themes (Forest, Ice, Fire, Crystal, Light, and Wind) are featured, offering a kind of unified, unique adventure. Are you ready to solve extra puzzles? Jump in together with your friend or even play solo to guide both Fireboy and Watergirl to the exit doors!
The levels in this installment are, of course, filled with traps, green goo, switches, levers, and more.
While Fireboy can walk through fire and lava but dies in water, Watergirl, on the other hand, can walk through water but dies in fire/lava. Still, green goo (or the toxic liquid) can kill both. Avoid all sources of danger and control both characters to reach the exit door for as many level completions as possible.
Each level in the game is a tricky puzzle, where smooth cooperation absolutely matters. There are a total of 6 temples, each with its own set of levels and unique challenges that your Watergirl and Fireboy have to face off against.
Fireboy can only collect the red gems, and Watergirl is able to grab the blue ones. You do not need to grab every diamond to finish the level, but they add bonus points and more challenges to the game.
You unlock new levels by completing the current challenges. Gradually, you’ll get to other temples, with increasing difficulty that may take multiple tries to complete and progress through.
