Anguis.io is a multiplayer snake-style .io game where you control a snake made of squares in a competitive arena, aiming to become the longest snake and dominate the leaderboard. Avoid collisions with other snakes to stay alive as long as possible and grow your length.
Set in a purple neon-tinted arena, players navigate around to collect food to grow longer and climb the leaderboard as a powerful snake. You have three lives; spend them wisely to be the longest snake overall.
Start with a tiny snake. Slither around the arena, find food pieces, and consume them to grow longer with each piece you collect. To grow faster, you can absorb the remains of defeated snakes.
Avoid collisions. If your head collides with any snake body or the arena boundary, you’ll lose one of the three given lives. Similarly, make sure your snake's head doesn't crash into its own body as well. The game is over when you have no life left.
Boost speed when needed. Hold down your spacebar to accelerate your snake's speed. Boosting makes it move much faster, but it drains the boost bar. So, use it wisely to grow longer faster or to trap other snakes to defeat them.
Survive as long as possible. The longer your snake survives and the more it consumes, the longer and more powerful it grows. You have three lives in Anguis.io; don’t waste them if you want to slither to the top.
