Battleboats io is a team-based multiplayer naval battle game where players join a team of players, controlling armed ships trying to destroy enemy ships and their HQ while defending their own. Use mines, collect XP crates, and become powerful to eliminate the enemies and dominate the sea.

How to Play Battleboats.io

Game modes and objectives. In Battleboats io, players will play in either the Red or Blue team, battling against each other while trying to guard their own. Currently, the game offers 2 modes: Team Deathmatch and HQ Destruction, each with unique missions and objectives.

Team Deathmatch. In this mode, the major goal is to destroy more enemy ships than the opposing team within the given time to win the match.
HQ Destruction. This mode challenges you to move your team’s big sea mine toward the enemy’s HQ to destroy it. You move the mine by collecting mine crates floating on the sea; try to collect them as quickly as possible to destroy the enemy HQ.

Start the game and jump into action. As soon as your ship spawns on the map, navigate around to collect different types of crates:

Mine crates: Collecting them pushes your mine closer to the enemy HQ.
XP crates: Grab these to upgrade your ship. As your ship evolves, it deals more damage and becomes tougher to destroy.
Repair crates: If your ship takes damage, grab repair crates to restore health and stay in the fight longer. Remember, your ship is destroyed when its HP hits zero.
Ammunition crates: Collect them to reload your cannons and torpedo tubes so that you can keep your firepower alive.

Engage in combat. Aim and shoot at enemy ships using your weapons with proper timing. Meanwhile, try to dodge hazards and incoming fire from your enemy and avoid moving into dangerous zones controlled by the enemy. If your ship is damaged, quickly grab repair crates to boost HP.

Evolve into different types of ships. In Battleboats.io, your vessel can transform into new vehicles, such as submarines or aircraft carriers, by collecting icons marked the vehicle symbol. Of course, each type has its own abilities, speed, and firepower that give you new ways to attack and dominate the enemies.
