Openfront.io is a multiplayer strategy and territory conquest .io game where players compete to build and expand a mighty empire that dominates the map. The game majorly focuses on strategic territorial expansion and defense, resource management, building infrastructure, and making other important decisions, like entering into alliances. You win when you conquer 72% of the map’s total territory or higher. However, if your territory falls to 0%, you’re eliminated.
The objective is to expand your territory, conquering as much as possible, while defending effectively to protect your current land from being invaded by other countries. Aim to capture at least 72% of the map to win.
Choose a starting territory and prepare for initial expansion
After setting up the game (choosing a map, difficulty level, and game mode), pick a location during the “prep” phase. Choose wisely for potential growth, expansion, and defense; make sure you are ready before real-time play begins.

Click on adjacent land to expand your territory. The attack ratio determines the number of troops used in the attack; it’s up to you to use smaller or larger percentages early to conserve forces or increase the conquering speed.

The balance between expansion (or attack), defense, and cooperation is a key to victory in the game. Make sure to effectively manage and maintain a balance between military troops and workers, as well as between defensive structures and offensive weapons. Of course, it all depends on your strategy.
