Tanks 3D io is a chaotic multiplayer team-based tank battle game developed by Yp3d and released in May 2025. In the game, up to 1,000 players can clash simultaneously on a massive, destructible battlefield. Enter the arena, select your team, and start defeating the enemies to earn scores, get golds, level up, and upgrade your weapons and tanks.
The objective in Tanks 3D.io is to eliminate enemy tanks, shape the terrain for strategic advantages, and collaborate with other players to take control of the battlefield. There are five different teams, each distinguished by color: Red, Blue, Pink, Yellow, and Cyan.
Battle against other tanks
Move around the arena, spot enemy tanks, and attack them using your weapons. Use terrain to your advantage: dig trenches, hide behind hills, or move to higher terrain to have a wider view. You can also create barriers or tunnels to defend against incoming attacks or trap opponents.
Earn gold to level up and upgrade
Attack and eliminate your opponents to earn gold, which will help you level up and unlock new weapons, such as the machine gun, light shell, heavy shell, rockets, and more. As for your tank, you can unlock Light Tank, Builder, and Heavy Tank at level 6, 10, and 22, respectively.
Climb the leaderboards
Your score determines your position on the leaderboard. Boost your rank by destroying and helping destroy as many enemy tanks as you can. However, getting eliminated by opponents will lower your score. Be careful, watch out for incoming attacks, and play strategically to ensure a higher ranking spot.
